The Harbor 2 utilizes an integrated air ballast system to dynamically lift and lower the stern of your boat to facilitate effortless loading and launching of your boat. And using the lift is as easy as driving your boat onto a trailer: simply kiss the bow of your boat to the recessed bow entry guide, and slowly power her onto the lift. The adjustable pipe bunks will center and level your boat to ensure safe and consistent loading. When you’re on the lift, your boat will be about 80% out of the water. From here, just hop off the boat and turn a lever on the dock mounted control box. A 24V blower system will quietly and quickly (less than 3 minutes!) fill the air ballast, giving the lift the additional buoyancy needed to lift your boat completely out of the water. And because it is a closed-loop system, your boat will remain high and dry until you’re ready to go boating.
When you are ready to hit the water, simply open the valve on the control box and the air ballast will exhaust itself. The weight of your boat will push the lift under the water. Hop in, trim your motor down, and put her in reverse. The boat will slide off the lift with ease. And because the lift is foam filled, it will float back to the surface to stay clean and dry while you’re out enjoying the water.
